Uncle PB was thinking of logging onto Netflix and streaming Fight Club. Let him tell you, there’s nothing like watching Brad Pitt beat himself up.

But then he saw that a few Duquesne students decide to have a skirmish that would be on par with some of the film’s brawls. On Saturday, a few students got into it in Towers. One of the students punched the other, causing a possible broken nose.

Then just as Uncle PB was ready to sit down with a big bowl of popcorn to view Tower Heist, you kids outdid that film as well. Two thefts were reported over the past week, the first happening on Thursday when a student reported her wallet stolen and that her two credit cards had been used to make fraudulent purchases. Then on Sunday, another student reported her money missing from her room in St. Martin’s Hall.

The rest of the week was akin to The Hangover.

Three alcohol related incidents, all on Friday, resulted in two students being taken to UPMC Mercy and two students being cited. There were also two drug related incidents, one on Friday when a resident director found pot in a student’s St. Martin’s room and one on Tuesday when pot was found on a Point Park student in St. Martin’s.
