BREAKING: Police investigating sexual assault involving Duquesne student

The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Sexual Assault Unit is investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred to a Duquesne student in the morning hours of Labor Day, according to a campus-wide crime alert email.

At 9:44 a.m. on Sept. 3, Duquesne University Police responded to a report that a female Duquesne University student was allegedly sexually assaulted in an unaffiliated apartment building near Duquesne’s campus. The suspect is a male that the victim recently met, according to the crime alert.

The alert said that the Pittsburgh Police will handle the investigation.
