Duke Sports Staff

Junior guard Jordan Stevens and sophomore guard Desmond Ridenour of the Duquesne men’s basketball team will transfer, according to ESPN’s John Goodman. Both Stevens and Ridenour’s names appeared on Goodman’s transfer list on April 4 on ESPN.com.

Stevens averaged 18.8 minutes in 20 games last season, scoring 8.9 points per game. The Columbia, Missouri native transfered to Duquesne last season from Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa, where he was a Junior College All-American. Stevens was suspended before the Dukes’ Jan. 24 matchup with George Washington, and did not return to action the rest of the season.

Ridenour, who hails from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, averaged 7.9 minutes over 21 games played. In those 21 games, the 6-foot-2 guard posted 42 points.

As of now, no other information has been released as to where Stevens and Ridenour will be transferring.
