Police Briefs

A quick tip from Uncle PB: If you are driving on Forbes, and the Barnes and Noble is on your right side, you are going the wrong way.

One person wasn’t sure of that early Monday morning, and drove the wrong way with no headlights on, nearly striking a Duquesne police car. The perpetrator was allegedly intoxicated, but charges are pending results of blood testing.

Another tip from PB: If you have the tenacity to “dine and dash,” at least flee the general area.

An intoxicated male, who had just left the Red Ring without paying his bill, was found in the first floor lobby area of the Power Center Tuesday night. Uncle PB is shaking his head at this one.

A wedding on the fifth floor of the Power Center may have gotten a bit rowdy Saturday evening. Two Duquesne students reported objects being thrown at them from the fifth floor Power Center balcony. Though the events might not be connected, PB is on the case.

Cameras caught an underage female under the influence of alcohol on Magee Street early Saturday morning. Authorities were sent, which proves that no matter what someone’s always watching.

Also Saturday morning, two male students were caught underage drinking on Vickroy Street the old-fashioned way, minus the cameras.

And finally, early Monday morning, an intoxicated female with stomach pains was transported to Mercy ER from Towers.
